Our Story


A project for the orphan girls, at Islamabad situated at sector D-12/1 near Shah Allah Ditta Road by the name of “HAMARA GHAR”. It is a very state of the art project in which our endeavours are always to provide all foremost essentials to orphan children. Our prime target is to give them an environment where the word “orphan” may not be used for them. So far, we have 82 girls in the house but these numbers are increasing day by day

Hamara Ghar has accommodated children in Islamabad centre, sector D-12 who lost their parents in different disasters in Pakistan. Most of the children accommodated in Hamara Ghar are those who eventually rendered to be orphans in the wake of terrorist attacks ,earthquake and floods

Currently, we are focusing on not only giving the people of Pakistan the best chance of survival but also the best chance to re-build their future. We want to give them their homes, livelihood and their dignity back while providing them with an opportunity to get their entire lives back on track. Our Services


Boarding And Lodging


Total Strength: 82 children


Head In-charge: A female; to manage and supervise the entire activities of the children and staff


Mother maids: 5 Females , one each for 16 children to take care of them like a mother , help them in changing dress, prepare them for school, lead them to dining hall on scheduled hours, set up their time table for various activities as well as day and night care


Receptionist: To manage visitors affairs


Accountant: To manage all accounts affairs


Kitchen Staff: One head cook, 3 helpers

Education


Schooling: Our very own, "Hamara School System", offering excellent curriculum of oxford to the students of early classes, have been preferred for the education of these orphan children. For senior classes we have affiliated with federal board


Holy Education: One Qaria (female/male) to impart Islamic Education


Extra School Coaching: Two teachers have been engaged for extra coaching of children to get their home work done


Computer Lab: The centre is facilitated with a computer lab in order to provide Computer Education, a computer instructor has been inducted who comes in evening for similar purpose


Health And Nutrition


Medical Assistance: We have registered every child of our house with Shifa Health Care Centre D-13. Every girls in our house has gone through proper medical check-ups before the enrolment. Their day to day medical record is being maintained in the same hospital


Dispensary: One female nurse 24/7 to handle any mishap or emergency situation, equipped with a stand by ambulance


Nutritionists: We also invite different nutritionists to check their balanced diet time to time


Socio-Physical Activities


Workshops: We arrange workshops in collaboration with different NGOs for the grooming and capacity building of enrolled orphans


Physical Activities: The children at Hamara Ghar, engage in different sports and outdoor activities. Taekwondo classes are also held regularly at the centre for training and physical fitness
